Face bleach is a purely chemical substance, its chief component being hydrogen peroxide, which is the bleaching agent. The hydrogen peroxide lightens your facial hair, and makes your face appear brighter, fairer. Face bleach does not lighten your skin .
How often should one bleach? It is advisable to bleach once in a month because using bleach very often can thin down the skin. Frequent bleaching can also cause redness and acne breakouts.
If no irritation occurs and you decide to proceed with the bleach treatment, apply only a thin layer of the diluted bleach solution to the entire face (carefully avoiding the eyes, mouth and nostrils) and leave for a maximum of ten minutes
